Why learn a new language?
Speaking a second language not only opens the door to multiple improvements in the work or professional environment, but it is also beneficial for our cognitive development, since when we learn a new language, our brain becomes stronger and more flexible.

About Me
My name is Lucas, and I am from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I have a four-year Teaching Degree in Spanish Language and Literature, and I am currently finishing my Specialization in Spanish as a Foreign Language at the National University of La Plata. I also have a Certification in Translation and provide translation, transcription and subtitling services from English into Spanish.
I love teaching, meeting people from all over the world and learning about their cultures. I am interested in literature, music, and I’m a little bit of a cinephile! I like playing guitar and talking about books and movies.
Do I need to take a level test?
It is not necessary since in the first session we will be able to determine your level of proficiency. Also, if you want to know your level of Spanish before taking a class, you can take a free test by filling out the contact form below and I will send you one.
Can I take a Crash Course?
Sure! I offer a Crash Course that is designed for travelers who want to learn the basics of Spanish communication needed for everyday situations.
What are the advantages of online classes?
Online classes allow us to access from anywhere and be more flexible with schedules, without wasting time traveling or mobilizing. In addition, we can take advantage of Zoom and Skype tools to connect and Google Docs to perform the activities, allowing us to edit in real time and save the changes safely to access again when you need to review.
What happens if the internet connection is unstable?
If there are video-audio issues due to poor connection, I will offer you to make up the class any other time, without extra fees.
If I travel to Buenos Aires, can we have face-to-face lessons?
Of course! I’m teaching in co-working spaces in Palermo and Villa Luro at the moment. Please, note that online classes cost less than in-person classes, as transportation and space usage costs are eliminated.
Can I choose the day and time for the lessons?
Yes, I work from Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM GMT-3 (Argentine Time). We will schedule the sessions on the day and time that suits both of us.
What if I need to reschedule a class?
That is not a problem at all. Just tell me you want to reschedule, and we make a new appointment. I only ask you to inform me 24 hours in advance, otherwise it will count as a no-show.
Do I need to pay for all sessions in advance?
Yes, the complete amount is to be paid before the start of the language classes.
Do you also translate texts into Spanish?
Yes, I translate from English to Spanish. I also provide services for proofreading Spanish texts. Contact me for more information and prices.
